Clothing Labels – Woven or Printed
At Identities we can offer a wide range of woven and printed label products. Whether it be Satin, Damask and Taffeta Labels are the three common types of woven labels and each type has a range of three to four different qualities. Add to this a wide selection of options with respect to ground and design construction and finishing methods and you have a product with a very large degree of flexibility. Whether it is for high fashion or main stream apparel there will be a woven label solution for you.
We are seeing clients ask for labels that reflect the changes within the world of fashion and media. For example the words frequently used in our brief from clients are “organic”, “eco”, “natural” “soft” and “urban”.
As it is very difficult to make specific recommendations about what kinds of designs and lettering styles should be used or avoided, as a client's opinion with respect to the success of final results is very subjective. Our best advice is to try to visualise a design while keeping the weaving process in mind and to look at as many samples of similar designs and colour combinations as possible in order to achieve the desired result. We are able to make informed suggestions as to what will work best with your particular design.
We also offer a range of printed labels and tapes on different fabrics including cotton, satin and taffeta. These can be printed using any of a number of different methods. The variety and range of image colours on face surfaces and back of surfaces of the chosen fabric will differ depending on the method of printing selected. There is also embossing or a combination of two or more types of effects. These can all be discussed with our experienced sales staff.
